Keith Olbermann said the Republicans are all “hypocrites” for voting against the auto industry bailouts….

GM and Chrysler went bankrupt even after they accepted the government bailouts.  It’s likely that the taxpayers will still have to pay an additional $50 billion dollars to the new Government Motors that emerges after bankruptcy. The bailouts failed and yet the Republicans are the hypocrites?

Ford is exhibiting the American principles which has seen us through many difficult problems the U.S. has faced through its creation. Our present financial difficulties is being made more difficult by our government excessive spending and intervention, they are becoming more the problem than any potential solution.

Keith Olbermann and his son Rachel Maddow are the perfect example of what is wrong with this country.  They criticize anybody that opposes this failed administration and their current path to Socialism.

Columbus Blue Jackets Need Bailout!

May 28, 2009
The owners of the money-losing Columbus Blue Jackets want a tax increase on beer, wine and cigarettes to underwrite a county takeover of the arena where they play.

Such a move would defy the will of local voters who repeatedly rejected public financing of the facility built by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.

The prospect of significant tax hikes also has touched off a battle between financial backers of the Blue Jackets and beer brewer Anheuser-Busch, which operates one of its 12 U.S. breweries in the city.

The company’s president flew to Columbus on Thursday for meetings with Gov. Ted Strickland and leaders of the Ohio Legislature. The team wants the proposal inserted into the budget that starts July 1.

This news comes just days after Mayor Michael Coleman  announced that 297 police officers will be laid off if the voters do not pass his proposed tax increases.   Among those to be laid off will be the 25 officers President Obama used in his photo op. to sell everybody on his spending package.
The only thing this administration is capable of doing is tax and spend.  We may have to wait until 2012 for our stimulation!

Pakistan Nuclear Sites Already In Radical Hands

May 20, 2009

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari said his country isn’t adding to its nuclear arsenal and doesn’t have to disclose the location of its weapons to the U.S.

President Barack Obama said last month that, while Pakistan’s civilian government is “very fragile,” he is confident that the country’s nuclear arsenal is secure. He also said that Pakistan’s military is taking the threat of internal enemies seriously and recognizes the hazard of nuclear weapons “falling into the wrong hands.”

“We have confidence in their security procedures and elements and believe that the security of those sites is adequate,” General David Petraeus, the head of U.S. Central Command, said on Fox News.

India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has told President Obama that nuclear sites in Pakistan’s restive frontier province are “already partly” in the hands of Islamic extremists, an Israeli journal has said, amid considerable anxiety among US pundits here over Washington’s confidence in the security of the troubled nation’s nuclear arsenal.

Claims about the high-level exchange between New Delhi and Washington were made in the Debka, a journal said to have close ties with Israeli intelligence, under the headline “Singh warns Obama: Pakistan is lost.” The brief story said the Indian prime minister had named Pakistani nuclear sites in the areas which were Taliban-Qaida strongholds and said the sites are already partly in the hands of “Muslim extremists.” A sub-head to the story said “India gets ready for a Taliban-ruled nuclear neighbor.”

There are recent reports and satellite images showing Pakistan building two large new plutonium production reactors in Khushab, which experts say could lead to improvements in the quantity and quality of the country’s nuclear arsenal. The reactors had nothing to do with power-production’ they are weapons-specific, and are being built with resources who diversion is enabled by the billions of dollars the US is giving to Pakistan as aid.

Could the billions of dollars the US is giving Pakistan as aid, fall into the hands of Muslim extremists?  I guess that would depend on who you believe.

April 2009

“We were not — I repeat — were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation methods were used,” said Pelosi, D-Calif.

May 2009

“Yes I am saying the CIA was misleading the Congress.”

“I am telling you they told me they approved these and said they wanted to use them but said they were not using waterboarding,” she said.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reportedly was told in February 2003 by her intelligence aide, Michael Sheehy, that waterboarding was used on CIA terror detainee Abu Zubaydah, directly contradicting Pelosi’s account that she had never been informed of the technique’s use.

A CIA document made public last week shows that Pelosi received a briefing in September 2002 on the tactics used on Zubaydah, an Al Qaeda leader and one of three prisoners subjected to waterboarding. Pelosi said she was told the agency was discussing its legal right to use the tactic in the future.

Pelosi is a liar and just like any corrupt politican, they are for something until it becomes the unpopular thing to do.  Since when did protecting this country become the unpopular thing to do??  Now we wait for the blame game to begin.

Serious misconduct by Representatives and Senators are dealt with by those bodies. Both the House and the Senate have means by which they may investigate charges of misconduct against members. Among the sanctions are censure, reprimand, and even expulsion.  I think it is time to end the corruption and ask the House to expel Nancy Pelosi.

It’s Vacation Time For Mayor Coleman And We Are Paying For It!!

COLUMBUS, Ohio—There’s no question the City of Columbus is suffering in uncertain economic times.
Every dollar spent is being examined, including business trips overseas.
Toward the beginning of the nation’s economic decline, the mayor and other city workers traveled to Israel to visit our sister city in an effort to bring tech jobs to Columbus.
Mayor Michael Coleman and his chief of staff were sponsored by the Jewish Federation and went free of charge, but two other city workers also went, using thousands of taxpayer dollars.
Tonight, NBC 4‘s Matt Alvarez gets answers directly from the mayor about the trip.
The City of Columbus has a current budget shortfall of $16 million and that budget crunch has lead to cuts in yard waste pick-up, to shuttering rec centers, from furloughs to hiring freezes. Now, there’s a move to raise taxes.

“The consequence of not achieving this tax will be devastating for our community,“ Coleman said.

Against that dramatic backdrop, the mayor has also worked to drum up business for the city and it has led to a trip nearly halfway around the world. But has the benefit of this mission justified the cost?

In April of last year, the mayor, his chief of staff, as well as education and business leaders traveled to Israel to see if technology companies in the region could bring business and jobs to Columbus.

We sifted through the records of the trade mission. Here’s what we found:

The mayor and chief of staff were sponsored by the Jewish Federation, but two development department employees went to Israel for advance work and the trip costing you, the taxpayer, $21,000.

“First of all, the reason we went to Israel is because it is a marketplace that is expanding technology and are focused on new products,“ Coleman said.

The mayor points to the following developments:

A major Central Ohio company says this trip has resulted in product development that is likely to result in millions of dollars of new lines.

Also, Columbus is marketing an Israeli electronic medical records company that is looking for a city in the U.S. to land.

The mayor also says there’s momentum building in the region to develop an investment fund to help attract businesses from Israel to Columbus.

In addition to that, a technology-based business incubator is also considering a move.

But it’s been more than a year since the mayor’s trip, and so far, lots of interest and speculation, but not a lot of jobs.

“I’m telling you, there’s a company that says there’s several product lines that will generate millions of dollars and jobs and opportunities in this community,“ Coleman said.

The mayor went on to say, it takes time to move international companies to Columbus. He also says due to the city’s current economic situation, he turned down two other International Trade Mission trips—one to Saudi Arabia, the other to China.

“We gotta fight for every job even if it’s international. Will I ever go to Israel again for the purpose of bringing jobs to the city of Columbus? Yes I will,“ Coleman said.

NBC 4 has learned Monday that an Israeli company that produces surgical items is outsourcing some jobs to Central Ohio—specifically Bridgehead Solutions will have gained ten jobs because of the mayor’s trip to the Middle East.

Below is a copy of the trip costs:

Who are the lucky 10??  Maybe they are 1 of the 1,500 teenagers Obama promised would have jobs this summer…

Ohio’s unemployment rate rose to a 25-year high in March as the state continued to lose jobs amid the recession, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said reported in April.
The state’s unemployment rate increased from a revised 9.5 percent in February to 9.7 percent last month, the highest rate since April 1984, department spokesman Brian Harter said.

Maybe Mayor Coleman is still star struck from his meeting with the anointed one!!  WAKE UP MIKE!!!

GM hosts fleet buyers at spa in scaled back event; critics unmoved

May 9, 2009

CHANDLER, Ariz. — Just weeks before a deadline that could send it into bankruptcy, General Motors is entertaining 500 of its biggest customers at a luxury spa and golf course in Arizona.

GM, (GM) which has borrowed $15.4 billion from the U.S. government in the past six months, shipped in 150 cars and trucks to the event this week at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa, and paid for airfare and hotel lodging for 90% of the guests.

The affair is scaled back from previous years, says GM spokesman Terry Rhadigan. Guests have to pay for their own golf outings, he says, and most of the days are packed with informational sessions on GM’s 2010 product line. The guests are GM’s fleet and corporate customers, which accounted for 27.6% of GM’s business in 2008. Fleet customers can buy dozens of vehicles at a time.

GM is operating on a taxpayer-funded lifeline, having taken $15.4 billion in government loans. It has said it needs up to $30 billion. It faces a June 1 deadline to slash debt and sign new contracts with its labor union, or the government has said it won’t provide any more money.

A small number of the customers attending the event were government employees who paid their own way, Rhadigan says.

Helio Fred Garcia, a professor of crisis communications at New York University, says GM’s fleet meeting isn’t the same as events by other companies that have been criticized for sponsoring lavish entertainment while taking taxpayers’ dollars.

“If GM is going to survive … it has to maintain sales in a competitive marketplace,” Garcia says.

President Obama has called for “shared sacrifice” among all of GM’s stakeholders.

“I would hope that GM management would spend our financial dollars wisely, and in a manner that would be certainly appropriate in the taxpayer’s minds,” says Jack Dickinson, president of GM retiree group White-collar retirees lost health care benefits at the start of 2009. “I would hope that our management has the foresight to stay away from things that would project a negative image with the public.”

GM, Chrysler and Ford executives were harshly criticized last fall for flying on private jets to Washington to ask for government aid. Leslie Paige of Citizens Against Government Waste says it’s clear GM didn’t learn from that.

“GM has a tin ear to these things,” she says. “There shouldn’t be any wining and dining right now. They took taxpayer money. If you’re going to do that, you need to make some very public displays that you get that the taxpayers are part owners of the company now.”

Tom Donaldson, a professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, says GM and other companies accepting government aid should be working hard to stay under the radar.

“Even legitimate functions that help sales, that create partnerships, that are not over the top and luxury, they are almost out of bounds from the public standpoint,” Donaldson says.

GM says the Treasury wasn’t consulted on the event, nor would it ask for permission. The Treasury has said it doesn’t want to interfere with GM’s day-to-day operations.

I guess the only people that have to scale back during these tough economic times are the people paying for it!!!

Intelligence officials released documents saying that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was briefed in September 2002 about the use of harsh interrogation tactics against al-Qaeda prisoners.

In a 10-page memo outlining an almost seven-year history of classified briefings, intelligence officials said that Pelosi and then-Rep. Porter Goss (R-Fla.) were the first two members of Congress ever briefed on the interrogation tactics.  Pelosi-Goss briefing covered “EITs including the use of EITs on Abu Zubaydah.” EIT is an acronym for enhanced interrogation technique.

Interrogations of Abu Zubaydah-again, once enhanced interrogations were employed-furnished detailed information on two operatives who planed to build and detonate a ‘dirty bomb’ in the Washington DC area and led to the discovery of a KSM plot, the “Second Wave” to use East Asian operatives to crash a hijacked airliner into a building in Los Angeles.

The use of enhanced interrogation techniques clearly kept us safe for the past 8 years.  Nancy Pelosi is another example of the pre 9/11 mentality that puts our country at risk for another attack.

1,000 pounds of high-grade nitrate fertilizer was stolen in Alabama

Burglars targeted a Tuscumbia business on the morning of April 30th. What’s most alarming is what the thieves took from business. The stolen property is potential dangerous material.

Approximately 1,000 pounds of high-grade nitrate fertilizer was taken from Greens Keepers on Gann Boulevard in Tuscumbia. The company handles fertilization and weed control for residential and commercial lawns. The owner, John Wagner, says he’s been in business for twelve years and nothing like this has ever happened.

“It’s very unusual,” says Wagner. “It was a very big shock to walk in at 7:00 a.m. and see all this gone.”

Sometime early Thursday morning, burglars broke in the business. First, they tried to bust through this glass window in the front of the building. When that didn’t work, police say the crooks pried open the side door.

“It appears that 25 to 30 bags of high-grade nitrate fertilizer was taken off the premises,” explains Wagner.

The thieves stacked the bags of fertilizer onto one of the company trucks, attached a trailer to the back, and loaded a lawn mower on it. The crooks also rummaged through the office – grabbing two computers, an iPod, and a cordless phone.

The stolen property is valued at several thousand dollars. For Wagner, that’s not the most unsettling part.

“The cost of the fertilizer is not the issue, it’s the quantity and the potential for bad guys,” explains Wagner. ”

Wagner worries that having the large amount of fertilizer in the wrong hands could lead to something very dangerous.

“It could potentially be made into a bomb,” says Wagner.

Tuscumbia police say as the burglars were driving off, the trailer, lawn mower, and some fertilizer fell off somewhere on King Street. Shortly after that, investigators say the burglars abandoned the truck on Sterling Boulevard.

The truck and trailer were returned to Greens Keepers. Police are still on the hunt for the fertilizer and the people responsible for taking it.

Right now, the Tuscumbia Police Department does not have any suspects and is asking for the public’s help to develop some leads. If you have any information about the crime or know where the fertilizer may be, call the Shoals Area CrimeStoppers at (256) 386 – 8685

Just as we are getting word of the fertilizer being stolen from Alabama, we got the following threat from Mexico’s Sinaloa drug cartel.

Sinaloa Cartel Threatens Use Of Deadly Force in U.S.

The reputed head of Mexico’s Sinaloa drug cartel is threatening a more aggressive stance against competitors and law enforcement north of the border, instructing associates to use deadly force, if needed, to protect increasingly contested trafficking operations, authorities said.

Such a move by Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, Mexico’s most-wanted fugitive, would mark a turn from the cartel’s previous position of largely avoiding violent confrontations in the U.S. — either with law enforcement officers or rival traffickers.

Police and federal agents in Arizona said they had recently received at least two law enforcement alerts focused on Guzman’s reported orders that his smugglers should “use their weapons to defend their loads at all costs.”

Guzman is thought to have delivered the message personally in early March, during a three-day gathering of his associates in Sonoita, a Mexican town a few miles south of the Arizona border, according to confidential U.S. intelligence bulletins sent to several state and federal law enforcement officials, who discussed them on the condition of anonymity.

The Sonoita meeting is considered one of several signs that Guzman is becoming more brazen even in the face of a Mexican government crackdown on his activities and continued turf rivalries with other traffickers.

Information from informants, wiretaps and other sources have prompted a flurry of warnings to authorities in U.S. border states, instructing them to use extreme caution when confronting people suspected of smuggling drugs and illegal immigrants from Mexico or ferrying weapons and cash south from the United States, officials familiar with those warnings said.

Some U.S. intelligence officials suggested Guzman was on the defensive because of enforcement efforts on both sides of the border and because he can no longer afford to ditch valuable cargoes when challenged by rivals or authorities.

Alabama has been dealing with the Mexican drug cartel  for well over a year.  I think it’s time for Homeland Security to stop focusing their efforts on citizens of the United States and start focusing on the terror threats from other countries.

This might have made the news if the anointed one didn’t have his first date night…

Scary…thank you USA !!

Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U. S. Needs to know ….

Something happened… H.R. 1388 was recently passed,  behind our backs. You may want to read about it. It wasn’t mentioned on the news… Just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN (Communist News Network)  screen.

Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA. This is the news that didn’t make the headlines…

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in “migration assistance” to the Palestinian refugees and “conflict victims” in Gaza.

The “presidential determination”, which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States, was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4.

Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Let’s review…itemized list of some of Barack Obama’s most recent actions since his inauguration:

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not just here within the U. S., but within the world, using U. S. Tax payer funds. He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the “terror attack” on 9/11.

Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

These important, and insightful, issues are being “lost” in the blinding bail-outs and “stimulation” packages.

Doubtful? To verify this for yourself:
